It can be challenging to let go of our usual traditions, but there are still many ways to celebrate and perhaps begin new traditions! Here are some ideas of how to celebrate this year.
Have an online movie-watch party
Most of us have holiday movies we love to watch every year. Try setting up a virtual watch party of your favourite movie with your loved ones! Everyone can view the movie at the same time in their own home and chat through the phone or text. Zoom can be used to set up a watch party, or alternatively most TV streaming subscription providers such as Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney Plus have this option as well. Don’t forget the popcorn!
Decorate your room
One thing that COVID-19 can’t stop is your creativity! Christmas is a great time to bring out those holiday decorations. Try singing your favourite carols as you decorate your space!
