One important part of the summer for anyone living in a senior living facility is getting outside and enjoying the outdoors. At The Hamlets in Vernon, we encourage our residents to get some sunshine and be a part of the community. Luckily we live in Vernon, which means there are numerous things to do and places to explore.

Historic O’Keefe Ranch
The ranch is the place to be in the summertime in Vernon. They are open every day, offering numerous things to do and see. One of the highlights is the Corn Maze, which offers a 2.5 acre maze that takes around 30 minutes to complete. It’s a great way to get outside, get some fresh air, and learn a little bit about corn at the same time.
